Common questions
What is Theology on Tap?
An evening talk on a question of faith, given somewhere relaxed — usually a bar, brewery or parish hall — followed by drinks and conversation. It is aimed at Catholics in their 20s and 30s, and you do not need to belong to the host parish.
When does Theology on Tap run in Chicago?
Through the summer, typically June into September, with each parish running its own series of evenings over a few weeks.
Do I need to book?
Usually not, though some evenings ask you to register so the venue knows numbers. Arriving early is wise for a well-known speaker.
