Elizabeth Ann Seton Food Pantry and Sandwich Kitchen
About this group
The Elizabeth Ann Seton Food Pantry and Soup Kitchen began in 1980, handing out coffee and sandwiches to patrons on our front porch. Today, our sandwich kitchen is open 4 days a week: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. We serve, on average, fifty to sixty meals a day. We also provide hygiene kits, socks, gloves, hats and winter clothing to our guests. Volunteers include parishioners, DePaul students, faculty and staff, and others from the neighborhood.
* Volunteers must be at least 18 years old to serve. *
Elizabeth Ann Seton Food Pantry and Sandwich Kitchen is organised in the Hearth app. Joining, messages and meeting details live there — the app is free.
