St Mary of the Lake Laundry Ministry
A group at St. Mary of the Lake in Chicago About this group
Saint Mary of the Lake and Our Lady of Lourdes Laundry Ministry is a response to the corporal work of mercy “clothing the naked.” Each week we provide the loving act of washing the clothing for homeless LGBTQ+ youth serviced by the Center on Halsted, qualified seniors living at Town Hall Apartments and the homeless living on the street. Over the years we have provided additional services to these friends as needed. We meet the second and fourth Tuesday at 3:00 PM at the parish office.
St Mary of the Lake Laundry Ministry is organised in the Hearth app. Joining, messages and meeting details live there — the app is free.
