Movie Night Out with AGLO
About This Event
From executive producer Deacon Steve Greco (Jesus Thirsts: The Miracle of the Eucharist) and writer-producer-director Don Johnson, the film blends cinematic re-creations spanning salvation history with intimate present-day interviews from around the world. From the Ark of the Covenant crossing the wilderness to Jesus teaching in the marketplace, the story leads to the Eucharist, where millions today are discovering the depth of God’s love in adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. We’ll catch the 7:00 PM showing on Thursday, October 8 of Adore Him, at the AMC River East 21, located at 322 E. Illinois Street. Want to join us?
About St. Michael in Old Town
Chicago, Illinois
Since its founding, St. Michael has been entrusted to the pastoral care of the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer—the Redemptorists. Inspired by their founder, Alphonsus Liguori, the Redemptorists are missionaries dedicated to proclaiming the Good News of God’s abundant love, especially to those who feel forgotten, burdened, or far from the Church. Their charism is simple and powerful: to preach the Gospel boldly, to make God’s mercy known, and to remind every person that no one is beyond the reach of God’s redeeming love. That missionary spirit continues to shape life at St. Michael today. Through vibrant liturgies, compassionate outreach, opportunities for spiritual growth, and a welcoming parish culture, we strive to be a place where people encounter Christ in a real and transformative way. Guided by our patron, St. Michael the Archangel, and inspired by the Redemptorist mission of hope and mercy, we seek to bring the light of Christ into the heart of the city. Whether you are searching for a parish home, returning to the Church, or simply exploring the Catholic faith—you are always welcome at St. Michael in Old Town.
